someone please help me Im sick of looking like im on drugs when im not
Hey there,
I suffered from acne since I was in highschool till I turned 26, so for a bout 12 years total. I went to a dermatologist and was placed on all kinds of medications trough my life. I became dependent on antibiotics to prevent break-outs. If i stopped taking them my acne would flare up. As you might have heard, taking too much antibiotics is dangerous for your health because your body becomes resistant to the effect, and when you catch a bug, they won't work anymore.
Finally someone recomended a natural cure for me, it's called TIBICOS, you make a drink using this live culture (sort of like the mushrooms used to make yogurt, but this ones work in a pure water and brown sugar mix) Anyhow, after drinking this beverage, my skin started to clear and I was able to stop taking antibiotics. After a few months my skin healed completely and now I never break-out.
I don't even drink it anymore, but always recommend it to people suffering from acne, because it's a natural cure that is inexpensive and really will heal your skin for good!
You can read more about it here: http://tibicos.org
Wishing you the best!
Daniel
P.S. don't buy them from the site i shared for Info on TIBICOS, they charge way too much. If you decide to try it, this is a good place to buy:

4everhisbabygirl ~ I can comprehend with what you're going through. I'll share my story with you. In my late teens and early 20s, having gone through radiation therapy because of a diagnosed brain tumor, I experienced a bad side effect through the radiation therapy.
My cheeks, and practically my whole neck was covered in red blotchy patches. Like you I tried every medical ointment that western medicine had to offer - creams, lotions, gels, RetinA, you name it, I tried them all, ALL FAILED!
It was through a very good friend of the family that referred me to a Hawaiian family, whose relative is a well known traditional Hawaiian Herbalist(GOD rest his soul). Now granted, the Herbalist did not ask any information about me. When I met the man, he looked at my affected areas on my face and neck, he laid his hands upon my head and started to chant the most beautiful and haunting prayer in Native Hawaiian. Talk about a surreal moment. Right after that he asked me if I have gone through radiation therapy? Now mind you that he did bot ask for any information from me, yet he already knew what the root problem was! AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!
Long story short, he recommended me to use a poultice, rather an herbal extract that could only be found no where else on my island home of Kaua'i. It was free of pesticides and man made fertilizer, organically grown. I was instructed to boil the extract and let it sit for a few minutes until I could take the heat being dabbed on the affected areas of my cheeks and lower area of my neck. I was instructed to say a prayer before I applied the herbal extract and with the remaining extract to bury it and say a prayer once more as Mother earth provides, so shall you return it to Mother Earth. Exact words that he told me, I did.
Within 3-4 days, to my SURPRISE...all the red blotches slowly disappeared and faded! THIS IS A TRUE STORY. In less than 2 weeks, every area affected returned to normal doing the same procedure and prayers that i was told to do so.
Now I dont know if you can find yourself a well known herbalsit or find something similar through an herbal remedy shop...all I can tell you is to keep the faith in your search and Mother Earth will provide as yo will return that precious gift she gave to you. Keep me posted :)
STOP SMOKING
I guarantee if you stop smoking your acne will go away. The five primary channels of elimination are the colon (large intestine), kidneys, skin, lungs and liver.
Your lung is the seconday channel of elimination
What happens when your bowels, kidneys, and liver gets overloaded?
When that happen your body will expel toxins through your lungs and skin (your secondary channels of elimination). And this is when acne occurs. This is when your skin starts to breakout.
SO STOP SMOKING

hey hun have you talked to your doctor. i have pcos and it causes me to have acne bad! he put me on a medicine called tetracycline. it has helped alot! i still get acne but it doesnt itch like it did or hurt. i dont even realize im breaking out in other areas until i look in the mirror. and the acne has went down tremendously. i always want to pick at my skin to because it is embarassing.what i do when i get the urge to do that is wash my face, maybe you could try that. when you get the urge to scratch go wash your face with soap and water. i used mary kay acne products for awhile and it did clear me up but with this pcos i have to attack the acne twice as bad with medicine orally and washing my face. i am here if you need to talk.
lots of love.......Ashley
