I suffered from acne until I was 30 years old. I discovered something that basically cured it. I started using a line of face products from a website called acne.org. The products alone at first didn't solve anything. They helped a bit though. Then I was talking with a friend and he told me about this plant called the Neem leef. It is a natural antibiotic. They sell it any health food store,and brand. Get it as an oil. So regement is the following: acne.org face wash, acne.org benezol perioxide on my face day and night and then I use their lotion. I also have jajoba oil from acne.org. I mix the jajoba oil,and the neem oil a few drops of each into the lotion. After about 15 minutes I let it dry. I blot off the excess oil that is on the surface with oil pads. I dont buy the oil pads at the store b/c that would get expensive, so as silly as this sounds, I use toilet liners. I take a couple and tear pieces off. These are the exact same as the blot pads they sell at the store. We folks with acne have been told that oil is bad,and that will make us break out. This is simply not true, it is when you deny your skin these essential oils, that your skin freaks out, and produces too much oil to compensate, and resulting in clogged pores. Do not deny yourself oil. If you take anything from this, it should be the Neem oil. I truly believe in this product. It has saved my skin. Now it could be that i just out grew the acne, but I highly doubt it, b/c even with all my skin regements its not 100% better, if I do not wash my face, or skip a step, I will get a little break out. But no where near what I used to. I only get small white heads sometimes. Before my acne was cystic. And we all know these are the worse kind. So if you haven't found anything that works, and you are tired of those proactiv commericals claiming they will fix your acne, and they never do, try Neem oil. I am not promoting this product for any other reason but the fact that I think it works. You can use any brand of your preference. I get mine from Supper Supplements.
