What have you tried to help clear it up?

I hope it does work. Have you evaluated your diet to see if by going more natural it might help clear up some of the acne. I am huge believer that the face and skin shows the health of the body. Try small steps toward cleaning up your diet and see if it makes a difference.

I'm 20 and have been on almost every antibiotic on the market (currently on Minocycline and spironolactone). My derm talked about acctuane and I decided after one bad break out that it was a done deal. I start sometime after next week.
My acne still isn't clear. I'm in the middle of a break out right now. Probably due to stress. Will keep you posted on the results of the accutane.

I tried watching my diet , but it doesn't work. I get horrible break outs just before my period no matter how hard i try to watch my diet . i went to this new dermatologist . she gave me this really strong antibiotic that i am supposed to take for 7 months . i ope it works because it makes your skin vety dry and i have to always make sure i am hydrated .Wish me luck. thanks guys for responding to my post .it's nice to know that there are people out there who care .

Hey there,

I suffered from acne since I was in highschool till I turned 26, so for a bout 12 years total. I went to a dermatologist and was placed on all kinds of medications trough my life. I became dependent on antibiotics to prevent break-outs. If i stopped taking them my acne would flare up. As you might have heard, taking too much antibiotics is dangerous for your health because your body becomes resistant to the effect, and when you catch a bug, they won't work anymore.

Finally someone recomended a natural cure for me, it's called TIBICOS, you make a drink using this live culture (sort of like the mushrooms used to make yogurt, but this ones work in a pure water and brown sugar mix) Anyhow, after drinking this beverage, my skin started to clear and I was able to stop taking antibiotics. After a few months my skin healed completely and now I never break-out.

I've been acne-free for3 years now, and don't even drink it anymore, but always recommend it to people suffering from acne, because it's a natural cure that is inexpensive and really will heal your skin for good!

You can read more about it here: http://tibicos.org

Wishing you the best!

Daniel

P.S. don't buy them from the site i shared for Info on TIBICOS, they charge way too much. If you decide to try it, this is a good place to buy:

I am sure going to keep that in mind . The antibiotic i am taking is causeing me major digestive problems . i already have a heartburn problem and it just makes it worse sometimes. The thing is that the meds are working and here in Egypt we don't have much opinons concerning healing with food and doctors here barely metionit . iknow about all this stuff form personal research . i am planning to discuss with my doctor on my next appointment natural remedies and if she can decrease the dosage a bit . I really don't know what to do.It's working fine but the side effects written in the pamphlet are deadly , but the doctor told me that it's pefectly safe and standard. I hope i just wish the acne and it's meds would just cease to exsist in my life . Thanks for the tips and support i really appreciate it .
